Was craving a Sunday roast today so decided to make one 👩🏽‍🍳 It’s nearly Easter so roasted some lamb with rosemary and topped with mint sauce🐣 Also made some lemon & garlic turkey breast 🍋, roast potatoes, honey carrots, buttered leeks & cabbage, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire puddings and a rich gravy 😋 fancied something sweet so made a spontaneous dessert of griddled spiced rum & malibu pineapples 🍍, salted caramel sauce and a coconut & lime ice cream 🌴🥥 both recipes on eatsimplelovefood.com 💗 hope everyone is having a lovely food filled Sunday 🌞

🌴🥥Decided to make my favourite dishes from sunny Thailand 🌞🌴Thai pad krapow -a stir fry with lots of fiery chilli, garlic and sweet holy basil🌿 you can use any meat you like, but I’ve been loving swapping minced meat for tofu & mushrooms recently: with strong flavours like this, there’s not much difference in the end result🌱 served with sticky rice, salad, a classical fried egg and a chilli sauce🌶 Wanted something sweet too so used the leftover rice to make into coconut & fresh mango sticky rice 🥭🥥 outstanding combo😍 with some Singha beer to pretend we’re on hol 😎 both recipes on insta story/ eatsimplelovefood.com 🌺
💕Rhubarb, vanilla & pistachio porridge 🥣 🐻 Porridge has been my weekday breakfast for years, so I always try to mix it up🌞 The best way to roast rhubarb* is with orange juice to bring out its pretty pastel pink colour🍊💗Placed on top of creamy vanilla porridge (with almond milk), a sprinkling of coconut sugar, ground cardamom & crushed pistachios💕 Tastes like rhubarb & custard🍬
Decided to make a Korean tasting menu last night for my family😍 Made soft bao buns☁️ with Korean fried chicken & crispy quorn in a gochujang sticky sauce 🔥Filled them with sriracha mayo, spring onions, cucumber, picked and crispy onions & crushed peanuts. 🍜noodle soup🍜 had some leftover noodles so decided to make a flavoursome broth with plenty of ginger & chilli oil🥟 added dim sum & noodles for a quick & healthy lunch🎋
